MBISS GCH. CH. Carrollton's Count Lancelot " Junior "

My first brittany was a sweet one named "Otis".  When I purchased him from a local breeder, she assured me that he would be an excellent show dog.  Being new to showing dogs and this breed, I believed her.  Later I learned the  butterfly nose and only one testicle disqualified him from showing and from breeding as they were genetic problems.  My second attempt was a beautiful female named "Chelsea" who came from one of the top field trial dogs with a pedigree of great hunting dogs.   She went on to become a Field Champion.  Otis became a loving pet and hunting companion.

I soon purchased "Lance" who became a show champion.   The breeding of Lance and Chelsea was the beginning of Carrollton's Brittanys.   From there, many wonderful hunting and show dogs were produced that were also wonderful and loving pets.

Shortly after starting my line of brittanys, I was fortunate to be the owner of Ch. Chilcote's Creditors Vision "Dreamer" who produced wonderful, beautiful puppies.  Along came Ch. Chilcote's Credit Account "Count" who was the #1 All Systems Brittany in 1995 and 1996.   Through the daughter of Lance and Chelsea, "Korkie" and Count, they have produced champions and these have produced champions.

In 1997, I took a break from my brittanys due to illness of my father who passed away.  Shortly after his passing because he had always been my biggest fan, I decided once again to return to the breed I have always loved.  I rededicated myself to breeding quality brittanys, one of sound health and personality. 

Since 2008, my sister Jodie and my very good friend and avid brittany lover, Gloria Hartman partnered in breeding and showing quality dogs.   We continue to dedicate ourselves to brittanys that will be loving family members, great hunting companions as well as top confirmation dogs in the show ring.
